Join us for Ironman Games

September 19-21, 2025: Fresno, CA

The Ironman Games is a long-standing, highly anticipated sports competition hosted by AEYF West. Churches come together in the spirit of competition but remain united in sportsmanship. Join us for an unforgettable weekend filled with games, worship & session, food, fun & fellowship.

Sports include volleyball, soccer, basketball, ping pong, tavloo, and chess.

Though IronMan is open to competitors of all ages, youth participants are strongly encouraged. Non athletes are also strongly encouraged to attend. Churches are responsible for coordinating and assembling their teams. You MUST be a part of a church’s roster in order to register for this event. A copy of the schedule for the weekend and sports rules will soon be available on our website.

Feel free to reach out to us with any questions via email (info.aeyfwest@gmail.com) or Instagram (@aeyfwest).

We are excited to see you all there!

  • Check-in for AEYF will start at 6:00 pm on Friday at either PACC or FAPC.
  • Basketball and volleyball games will start at 8:00 pm on Friday.
  • Every other sport will start at 8:00 am on Saturday.
  • Plan your travel accordingly with your church group not to be late.

3. Where will athletes and spectators sleep?

Typically, hotel bookings are completed with your church. Our AEYF executive committee members in Fresno recommended the following hotels (all approximately 5-10 minutes drive to PACC and FAPC):

4. How can I register and pay for the Ironman Games?

To register as an athlete or spectator, please visit https://aeuna.regfox.com/aeyf-west-ironman-games-2025 .

Note for athletes: Your church team leader will be submitting a roster to our executive committee. Ensure that your name is listed for the sports you will be playing in order to avoid any confusion. If your name is not on the roster, you will not be allowed to play.

5. What does my registration fee cover?

The registration fee covers dinners on Friday and Saturday nights, waters, gatorade, snacks for the weekend, and Ironman Games 2025 merchandise.

6. Can I register to play both field sports (Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer) and tabletop sports (Tavloo/Backgammon, Ping Pong, Chess)?

Due to scheduling congestion, tabletop sports and field sports will be scheduled simultaneously. However, if you are playing a tabletop sport and have a window of time before your next match, you may play a field sport with the rest of your church’s team if you are registered for that sport. Please note that if you are late for your tabletop match, you risk a forfeit.

7. Is it possible to register on-site?

Yes, you can register as you arrive on Friday, only as an athlete with written or on-site verbal approval from your team captain (no free agents). You may register on Friday or Saturday morning only as a spectator. Please note that there will be a $30 extra fee for on-site registration.

8. Can I play for multiple churches?

No. Whether or not you attend multiple churches or Bible Studies, for the sake of team cohesion, fairness, and scheduling, you must pick one team to play for and stick with that team throughout the tournament. Whatever roster your name is on when your church submits its list of players is the only team you will play with. No exceptions, no free agency.

9. Is it possible to get a refund if I can’t make it anymore?

In case of cancellation, no refunds will be issued. For more inquiries, please reach out to info.aeyfwest@gmail.com.

10. What are some local meal options in Fresno?

11. Is session and church attendance mandatory?

Yes, all athletes and spectators are expected to attend the Saturday evening session at PACC and Sunday morning worship service at either PACC or FAPC.
