At what age can my child start Sunday School?
Children as young as 3 years old may start attending Sunday School. We do ask that children be pottie trained before starting Sunday School. Are your teachers and staff trained?
All of our teachers and staff are interviewed, background checked, and recieve State of California mandated training. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.Do you have a Nursery and Toddler program?
Nursery/Toddler: At First Armenian Presbyterian Church, we believe that God can have an effect on the life of a child from the time that they are born. Our Nursery and Toddler Programs provide care for infants and toddlers for ages birth up to 3 years of age during our Sunday services. Children are engaged in play, worship, snack, and more with our dedicated volunteer staff.
- All our Nursery/Toddler Volunteers/Staff are Background Checked and Interviewed.
- Toys & Supplies are sanitized between each service in the Nursery.
- We have pagers, which we will use to get you out of service if your child needs you. Which means you can sit back, enjoy the service, and not worry!
- In our Toddler Room, in addition to playtime, kids participate in interactive worship and Bible lessons.
- Our volunteers participate in a minimum of 2 trainings per year.
- We have a Nursing Mother’s Lounge (aka "The Cry Room") just off of the Sanctuary that is the perfect environment for families to use during services.
